Otto
Otto started his apprenticeship in February 2009 and was determined to get onto the floor asap. In November 2009 Otto Otto officially started his career and has worked his way up to Senior Stylist at Studio III in Broadacres. His love and passion for creativity in hair has kept him involved in hair shows and competitions. He is the blue blood of new blood and a talent to watch out for.
Leann Salzmann
Leann Salzmann is the owner of Hair and Skin in JHB Noth. She has been in the industry for 18 years, starting my career with Anthony Missenden at the original Mai Lai Hairdressing Salon. With the help of Michelle Whittal and her mentor Andrew Confiet she realised that anything is possible as long as you have passion and always give your best. "It has been an amazing journey, I have been given the opportunity to work with the Tigi artistic team, the Hikari artistic team and the Paul Mitchell artistic team along side my superhero Mr Robert Cromeans and Angus Mitchell. I got to experience The Gathering in Las Vegas. Nana du Pont
Nana du Pont, started her Hairdressing career at the Mai Lai Hairdressing Salon where she began as an apprentice and over the years worked her way up to opening her own salon, Purple Hair Design. Not only does she currently Own, Run ,and work as a Stylist at Purple Hair design, she also sits on the board of Southern Gauteng EHOCB. "My time spent in the industry has been, and continues to be really exciting and I'm looking forward to the exciting times to be had as part of The Community".
Gavin Botha
Gavin Botha joined the hairdressing industry in 1983 at the Johannesburg Technical College. He completed his course and continued to complete his masters. He has been a partner at Tangles Hair Design in Rosebank for 25 years. His achievements include: - SA Champion - Gavin has competed in World Hairdressing Championships over 3 continents. Cities he has competed in include: Paris, Milan, Berlin, Vienna, London, Seoul, Washington DC and Las Vegas - Board member of EOHCB (Employers Organization) for 8 years - SETA Examiner - Educator for GOLDWELL - Judges frequently in Hairdressing Industry competitions

Michelle Whittal is the owner of Studio III at Broadacres
Ernest Riley
Ernest Riley started his hairdressing career in 2001 at Mai Lai Studio 1 where he discovered and embraced his talents for hairdressing. "Hairdressing has provided me with a platform from which to catapult myself into new heights and strive for new adventures". After 12 years in the industry, Ernest has a lot to offer and will get involved in all aspects of the industry.
Tarin Savage
Tarin Savage is heading up the marketing division and is a client relations specialist.
